Yeah, I was actually thinking more along the lines of the guy in ZZTop who sings the baritone songs like, CHEAP SUN GLASSES.
In my opinion, some of the best melodies come naturally like that!

I think our voices would sound pretty cool mixed together. I do sound a little bit like Ozzy when I sing high. The 2 songs I used to love to do in Karaoke were War Pigs and Mamma I'm Commin' Home. I used to get a really good response from the crowd with those 2.
I can relate to what you said about your range, making the melody limited at times. That's why when I create a melody for another singer, I do it with my falsetto so I don't have much of a limit when it comes to singing the melody.
But if it's a melody I'm making for me too sing, I try not to go much higher than a B4. That's why the highest note in the song, Winter Mirror is a B4.
OK, I think I'm starting to babble.
Anyway, I agree with others, I think you should sing more.
