I had this sitting in my lyric section, but decided to post it in the Finished Forum since it was one of those one-and-done type of songs from over at 50/90. I wrote the lyrics to this haunting melody by Monty... then he found Jinx Montague to provide equally haunting vocals. I wrote this with the show "Deadliest Catch" and "The Perfect Storm" in mind. One of your typical (man vs sea - sea wins) type of ballad.

Love the lyrics, John, however the song itself needs more dynamics to make it work better. Particularly in the vocal, comes across as a bit of a durge and is hard to listen to at length.

Very nice, John. I have to agree with Mick regarding the dynamics. It's mostly a mixing issue, the ingredients all seem to be there.

Do you have the seps, or can you get them? I would love to give it a try (and maybe some others too). Lovely vocals.

Thanks Mick/Steffen, I think maybe I'll see if I can get Monty to join MCS... or at least provide the seps to see if more can be done with the mix.
