You'd Never Change
on:

Inge and I have worked on quite a few songs so far and most of the time the topics are serious and meaningful. Inge goes by the name Serious Music. She took this lyric, which I think says a strong statement, and developed a strong arrangement. Luigi's guitar works very well.
Hope you enjoy it.

Very atmospheric. I love the vocal. Has a slight dark edge to it....maybe because of the exotic accent.
I like the production with the strings combining well to give a big sound. The lead guitar is sprinkled just right and cuts through very nicely.
The chorus melody has a great hook with the "You'd never change" line at the end very strong.
Excellent collaboration, Paul.
Billy.

sounds great.
sounds like something one might hear in a movie soundtrack.
the mood conjures up some vivid pictures --- at least in my mind.
again...sounds great.
rock-n-roll ain't pretty --- that's why they picked us to play it.

Tks for the listen, yes the mood starts dark but moves toward a release from the situation. Inge has the ability to take my lyric and make it hers with the proper feel. She always handles the tough topics very well with her arrangements.

Great composition and arrangement. Inge has improved tremendously - and she wasn't bad when I first encountered her. This song has a lot of 60s/70s vibe. Needs a better mix, but still a great song.

Steffen

It just occured to me who this reminds me of - Dusty Springfield (e.g. "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" ). I mean the vibe, not the melody.

Very interesting piece, I like the arrangement...makes a nice contrast to the usual stuff I hear.
Maybe some of the mid range could have given way to let the vocal shine through a little more.

This is fantastic. Sounds like it should be in a foreign spy movie or something. I love Serious' music, she's good.
Excellent Paul.
