this piece really sticks in your head for lots of odd (good) reasons

it sounds so original...

i wrote the lyric a long while back as a country music dance tune...

i like it better your way, it's gotta style all its own

Hi Benny, are you talking about that rap-a-like part? There I use a preset from Toontracks EZMix. Those presets are kinda "sampled" FX chains from well-known producers. I think they use a technique call Impulse Response (IR) which is not like sampling...
For the "normal" vocals I use some Waves plug-ins like JJP and CLA. I doubled the chorusline.
The bu-vocals I actually sung on 1 track but heavily used some Antares plugins to achieve this choiry sound. These plugins I inserted in the dedicated stereo sub bus.

Kick and snare: I use at least 3 different kits! SD2/StylusRMX and Cubase built in... all sub bused and heavily compressed.
