I'm Atomic (Anthem of Eon)

This is the second finished song in our virtual band project called Anthem of Eon. Andy did a great job of writing the music for this. I think it's awesome when people can write outside of their "normal" styles. That shows you what a great songwriter Andy is. Mark also did some really nice vocals which fit the song perfectly IMO. Someone who probably doesn't get enough credit is Robert. He's a great lyricist and has written some awesome ones for this project so far. Finally, what can you say about Jay's keys, John's drums, and Andy's bass? They are always spot on. Throw in some guitar and an awesome mix by Steffen (who did it super fast I might add) and you have what I think is a great song. Credits and lyrics are listed below. Good to see another Anthem of Eon track completed. Took its time but the result was worth it.

Once again amazing work all of you guys, right from Roberts's brilliant lyric, Mark's great belter of a vocal, Riggo's blistering solo and battery of crunch gtrs, J's cool subtle keys, John's drumming and finally Steffen's sterling work in putting together a wonderful mix - he had only like 50 tracks to work with lol!!

Guys, thanks for asking me to mix this tune. I realize now how bad my ears really were when I did it. The seps were challenging for various reasons, but I know I can do much better. It seems that my ears are slowly getting better. If you agree I'd like to redo (or at least tweak) the mix when I feel capable.

I hear lots of unpleasant resonances and inacceptable shrill sounds.

But still: Great song and performances!

Been away from here for a while, real life being a pain in the ass and getting in the way, only to find this is the second finished posting. Really need to sort my real life out.
