Johnny came up with this really weird but oh so cool lyric inspired by Mr. Icke. George suggested something out of "Dr. Who", while I had a Syd Barrett moment.

This is the result!!!.

This proved to be a fun collaboration in the end. Lots of good chatter in there between the Lizard Lounge gang.

The collab was superbly marshalled by Steffen, who wove together the super vocals from George, the throbbing toms driven drums from "new boy" Marcel, Steffen's atmospheric keys and SFX, as well as the other tracks, to create a nicely balanced mix.

A big thank you to you, Steffen. And a special mention to Marcel, congratulations on your first completed collab with a fine drumming performance!!

AndyD - thanks for those little guitar fills, I know you were hard pressed for time but you pulled it off.

Cheers
Andy

Lizard men are living on the top of a pyramid scheme
Lizard men live on the top of a pyramid ........scheme

They fatten their stock playing devious schemes on our foolish dreams
With the tools that money can buy that power can bring
They are burrowed inside with the wealth they hide in the secret vaults
Plotting the charts that will lead to the path of total control

Sucking out the marrow from our mammal bones

Very silly but lots of fun. My 8-year old daughter loves this :)

An excellent debut number Marcel!
George can often be found playing stringy things, and singing...

Superb effort all round. I love this tune and it's distinctive quirkiness. Got to love GG's maniacal laugh, it's priceless! Great job everyone.

I've been watching David Icke for some years now, some of the stuff he comes out with is odd to say the least (like this subject), other stuff is on the other hand quite interesting and food for thought e.g. create a problem, cause fear then present a solution. Nice write Johnny and a great implementation by the Lizard Gang topped off with a superb production.

Fellas, i'm blown away!  ::)

This tune is exactly why i love this art form

Honestly Andy, your music is stuff of genius

Even if i was a musician

i would never have ventured down this path. No way, no how...

and that would have been a shame, because your tack on this is perfect  ;)

George, what an inspired vocal! i agree with Andy, you sound like Daddy Warbucks  8) 8) 8)

Marcel! Thank you again for joining us, your contribution is outstanding!

Steffen, thank you again, my friend, those fills and your mixing are once again, superb.  :)

AndyD, i'm only sorry we couldn't stuff more of you in here, but, i love the bits we got!  ;D

and a video of this would be soooo coool  :D

Thank you, fellow Lizard Men, for having me, and George, i love to hear that the your daughter likes it!

we must be doing something right!  >:D

Cheers to the Lizard Men!

what a great name for a band  :o

Thanks Mick - I'm glad you like the result.

Yes, GG's laugh is the icing on the cake - you should check out Snowy's laugh on "Level Five' too!

Hi Snowy,

Thanks for the appreciative comment!

Yes, one has to wonder at times. A lot of the "crises" around the world are man made Im sure. Politics/Power/Finance - an unholy trinity to say the least!

Loads of fun listening to this!
It's songs like this that make MCS such a fun place to hang our hats. :)
As this song proves, the sky's the limit when it comes to creativity here... if a song doesn't fit into a certain genre then we'll just make up new categories. >:D 8)
Congrats to Marcel also... not the last time I'll be saying that. ;)
On a side note - I can't remember the last time I saw Andy and d'other Andy together on a collab. ^-^
Damn it Jim! I'm a WRITER - not a Doctor!!

You started great  :)... Hey folks, now seriously, are stealling Ian's (Stonehead) stuff?  >:(

Cool song... This kind of tunes always reminds me how small I am as a musician, never on earth I'd come up with such thin, great.
Live the best you can 'cause you're gonna be dead for a long time.

Hi Paulo,

Thanks for the praise!! There's no doubt about your musical pedigree Paulo!

Yes, this does sounds a bit like something Stoney would come up with :).

Careful he may be lurking around somewhere  ;D

Cheers
