I finally realized why Henry is a Doc... he has TONS of patience!!

Even before this came to Studio A, me and Henry went back and forth from one idea to the next. Henry wasn't timid about shooting down an idea, and I wasn't timid about offering up one after the other. Eventually we came up with something that we thought might work... and then Henry started the whole process all over again from the musical side of the collab.
We've all said it before, but it really is the best part of a collab... watching how a song grows from just an idea into a finished product.

I think that's the key to a good tune - honesty instead of squeamishness. I wish more people would tell me in all honesty what they think about my ideas. That's better and much more decent than saying nothing at all or making false compliments.

Nice tune Doc. Kind of has a Beatles vibe to it. Good job on the vocals. Everythings nice and tastefully played. Mix sounds good on my end. Fantastic stuff guys.  Steffen has to give himself more credit as a piano player. Sounds great to me bro!
