New attempt: Losing It And Loving It - with Marc Traynor on bass

It has been two years now since we lost Marc. And still this song has not been finished. In the meantime I have learned a bit about mixing and mix-rescueing, so I gave it another try. I spent a whole day fixing the drums (as good as possible), and I tried some tricks to deal with the extremely problematic guitar sound. This mix can still only be a compromise, but I think it's possible to listen to the song without bleeding ears now.

The guitars in the instrumental interlude may be a tad too low now. I'm not sure.

How wonderful to hear this again, Steffen.    Lovely job on the mix. It's an honour to have Marc's bass on this song.  He was quite a character. I have countless PMs from him, and they almost amount to a book. Full of insight, information, and his fantastic humour.

By the way, Steffen, you've probably forgotten, but the lyric emerged from a comment you'd made in one of your posts here. You'd referred to yourself - jokingly, I'm sure  - as a 'loser'. The idea germinated from there.

Yes, Marc's book-long PMs were quite a challenge, but I wish he'd write some more.
