Good stuff, it started off reminding me of a Gabriel track and then took me somewhere else completely .

Nice Mix Adam

We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten

Thanks for the listen Mark! The Gabriel reference is spot on btw.. then it strays into FLoyd territory :). I tried to give it a more modern feel..I really did :)

Ah excellent, Im hoping that song would get your approval then - you're not of the new romantic wave (spandau ballet etc. )though are you :)

Yeah..a bit  ;D

None of that hair metal stuff for me...I was into various stuff

Duran Duran , Nik Kershaw, Howard Jones, Spandau Ballet, Kraftwerk, Yazzo, Depeche Mode , Erasure.

First Record I ever bought was 'My Perfect Cousin' by The Undertones  :)

Another early 80's song I loved and have on vinyl somewhere is this....see if you can play the bassline..

Hey Mike,

Thanks so much for the appreciative comments. This song took a while but came nicely together with great contributions from everyone and a solid mix from Argle :).

Thanks a ton Bill :) - Im thrilled you like the song.

Yes most of my fav bands are from 1960s-1980s British rock, however, I do like North American bands too specially between 1970s- (Boston, Kansas etc) late 1980s - 1990s. Audioslave is a particular fav. I listen to a lot of modern prog rock and they are from all over the world :). I wish I had the chops to write music like that.

I enjoyed this and it turned out well.

John - singing those words with conviction was a challenge, I had to really act it out.

I'm glad you were able to find your "inner George" to sing this George! 8)
I'm figuring just about anyone over 45-50 yrs. probably thinks along these lines every now and then. :-\
Damn it Jim! I'm a WRITER - not a Doctor!!
