This little tune was one of the first songs I wrote - and that was a long long time ago. So it feels good to finally have this 'completed'. I really want to thank the guys for contributing. Dan simply has been outstanding, supporting the song with feedback and ideas all the way. Jwoo's drums are terrific and Cyclone added a really nice and much needed guitar track.

Drums - Jwoo
Guitar - Cyclone
Banjo, Mandolin, Fiddle - Dan
Words, Music, Vocals, Piano - Chesook

                  I'm Leaving
The years have tainted our dreams created
And now it's time for me to say I'm leaving

I'd hoped to see you change your view
But though it's sad it's time for us to move on

Though time has left us empty
Of the feelings that we knew
A  hurt still strangely lingers
Of a love that we outgrew

So goodbye, I'll miss you. For the last time, let me kiss you
I know it's sad, but it's time for us to move on

Though tears do not give comfort
And fear hides only pain
They broke what we both wanted
And somehow still remain

Sounds great Errol - it's kind of an "O Brother Where Art Thou" meets Willie Nelson tune. 8)

Great support by Dan and Tim!!
Damn it Jim! I'm a WRITER - not a Doctor!!

A woman is on trial for beating her husband to death with his guitar collection.
The judge says "First offender?"
The woman says "No, first a Gibson, then a fender."

Nice to hear something a bit diferent  :)

The playing is excellent, the mixer could have brought the vocals more to the front for me but it's a minor quibble.

We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten
