Thanks everyone for a job well done and Special thanks to Tricia Delicia for taking my lyric and coming up with a contagious melody that brought all the other players on board.

This song will be put on a compilation cd to raise money for the Japan earthquake.  I'll let you know where it's available once its up in the stores.

Oo Oo I'll Find A Way
Casia - Lyrics
Tricia Dovidio - Composition/Melody/Vocals
David Patterson - Arrangement/Guitar/Mix
John Wooten - Drums
Michael McKinnon - Bass

(Intro)
Oo Oo
I'll find a wa-a-ay
To climb into your heart tonight
Oo Oo
I'll find a wa-a-ay
We can make a brand new start

(V1)
I never gave you romance
Cause I never learned to dance
I never cared quite like you do
But I'm so lonely without you

(PreChorus)
Oo Oo..Oo Oo..Oo Oo
I was a match
You were my fire
Oo Oo..Oo Oo..Oo Oo
I was a fool
Hanging on a wire

(Chorus)
You know, I'll find a wa-a-ay
To climb into your heart tonight
I'll find a wa-a-ay
We can make a brand new start

(V2)
Every night that we're apart
I etch your picture in my heart
Did you know love's guaranteed
To bend our two realities

(Prechorus)
Oo Oo..Oo Oo..Oo Oo
I'm a ticking clock
You are the time
Oo Oo..Oo Oo..Oo Oo
I'm the ocean
And you're the tide

(Chorus)
You know, I'll find a wa-A-ay
To climb into your heart tonight
I'll find a wa-A-ay
We can make a brand new start

You know, I'll find a wa-A-y
You know I'll find a way
I'll find a way-ay-ay-ay
I'll find ... I'll find a way

Wow !! Tough crowd !! Doesn't anyone listen or comment on finished songs any more? Is it that bad?  ;D

Tricia, I love this tune. Mind if I post this song on some of my music pages (with all credit going to me of course)  ;)

  • Write, rewrite, then write some more...
This is a good little number. One of Dave's cool guitar riffs and a haunting, but catchy Tricia melody. Nice song everyone.

Hey I missed this one first time around, Dave your guitar is unmistakable...signature Patterson.

Good little track...deserves some more plays.

CD
We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten
