This was an interesting  project ..Donna was foolish enough to ask me if I could come up with a track from her lyrics and after a bit of bumbling around I produced the bed track with a fairground/circus feel.

The next step was for Mike to work wonders with his guitars which changed the track beyond recognition in a very cool way as usual and got me head scratching for sure.

As usual I took it too far towards completion to really get other folk involved but I have to say I really like the end result and I hope you do to

Cheers Ian

Lyrics - Donna Devine
Lead Guitar/ Lead Arrangement - Mike Woodford (Snowdoguk)
Music,Production,drums,bass,2nd guitar,vocal,prog keys - Ian Burrage (Stonehead)

Nice little rocker again. I love the way you play with scenes and themes, Ian! Needless to say the lyrics and the guitars are great as always too.

I like it Ian! Music and lyrics are a perfect match. A bit crazy like always  ;)
I wonder when will you come up with something less than great?  >:D

Hey Gang,

I loved it from the first moment I heard this. Really love the intro circular sequence.

A gruesome update to "Being For The Benefit of Mr Kite".

Awesome stuff Stoney, Mike and Donna!

Andy

Nice one, sounds like the kind of place I could take the kids  >:D

You could do a whole Circus themed EP Stoney now the other one is finished  - this can be the opener.

Everything is very well done as always

CD
We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten

Thanks Mark

It's no good taking the kids there ... they would find their way home  ;D ;D

Sounds like a cool concept to me there must be loads of songs to write around a rogue circus or fairground

Cheers Ian
