Welcome to the site Neil.

I thought it was in the John Williams classic style. It would definitely work with the opening credits to a film such as The Omen or The Devil Rides Out

Nicely done and I look forward to more compositions from you.

Billy.

Nice song Neil,
I like the soaring quality to the music. I kind of agree with Nick, at least for the first part of the song, where it seems to fit perfectly for the fear/anticipation prior to a bloody battle or preparing to meet a mortal enemy.
The middle part has an almost redemptive quality to it, which contrasts well with the first section. Maybe bits of "Lord of the Rings" and Fantasia.
Also, I may be way off - I'm not musically inclined in the least, so pay me no mind. ;D

Hey Neil,
I'm not sure how this missed my attention, but you got it now. ;D

That was soooo good, I wish I was more of a musician, (I could give you the a better critique), but, from a person who just likes to listen, I love it! Those sticks, or, should I say, percusive bones >:D: they start out just interesting, but, toward the end, they have an almost sublime water torture affect that is like maddness....VERY NICE...Johnny

Very well put together piece of orchestration Neil! I had the same vibe as nick during the beginning section. (prolly cause of the marching feel it it). The rest of the song, (when i closed my eyes and listened) too me on a musican journey. I (like Mr mom), visioned a "Lord of the Rings" vibe.

Thanks for sharing!

wanna hear some of the collabs I've been involved in Neil... check out the links in my signature.

I admire drummers too.. (good ones that is....) lol

It's NOT as complicated as some believe!

Interpretations are subjective to the mood of listener at the time of the listen and the experience of the listeners ear...

Good music stands the test of time... Period!

Hi Neil

Very good ... love the feel of it - very moody, but it could just as easily fit into many different genres. Nicely done :)

Hi Neil, I'm glad I could nudge you over here.   ;)
Should be plenty of opportunities for collaborations. (If you introduce yourself in the "Welcome, You Are Here" forum, it might give more people a chance to hear about what you do.  ;) )
