I had some sort of madness onset retracking this umpty-million times. Maybe a reefer would have helped. As it was, many many cups of tea were consumed. At one point I played so much I got a blister on one of my fretting hand finger tips, something that hasnt happen to me for more than 20 years. I thought my finger tips had long since turned to a sort of rubbery leathery material, but apparently they're still flesh and blood.

As proof of my madness, I'm thinking of doing 'Please Don't Touch' (Motorhead/ Girlschool) to complete a triple marvellous box set of speed rock covers.  I will need a rock chick to share vocals though... any one out there?

I like this a lot but, a little detail. I'd put the rythm guitar on the left side of the mix. You got the organ at right and everything else in the middle, the left side is empty.

...it's three years since I posted this.

It was the second song I sang on MCS, the first being Ace Of Spades, which required a unique gruff approach to imitate Lemmy, whcih I managed fairly well. My singing technique 3 years ago was undeveloped, and I lacked confidence, so I used the Lemmy voice on this Gillan number in 2010.

A lot of water has gone under singing bridge since then, and so this week (July 2013) I decided to retrack the vocals for this properly. I improved the mix greatly also. Fantastic playing by Stoney on durms and J on keys. Sadly J is not well enough to play much these days. I also think my guitar chops were at their peak in this. My guitar technique has dropped since, as singing has taken over my life
