It's been a long time since Victoria and I finished a song.  She's been dealing with the death of her father and the revolution in Kyrgyz.  She was trapped in the country with all the borders locked down but is now safely back in Russia.  This one was started before Christmas last year.  The words have changed sooo many times to fit her pronunciation I don't even have a final lyric anywhere so I'm posting without one.  This is a duet with both her and her husband.  I will have to listen to the song to write out the lyrics again.

I had to pull this song earlier because it was not allowed to be published before the festival in Cyprus last weekend.  Viktoria is back in Moscow and said it was the worst festival they have ever been to.  It was the second annual Golden Melody Festival in Cyprus.  Sounds like they didn't get enough sponsorship and funding to do it correctly.  The festival decided to NOT fly in their international judges so used friends of participants who came.  Viktoria and Andrey didn't bring anybody else with them.  They did not make it to the finals which is sad because I found several of the participants posted their songs on youtube in advance (breach of contract) and I know Viktoria was better than many of them.  They didn't update their websites and did not end up doing a livestream.com feed which they had planned ... NEED I say more about the politics of many of these things and so typical in countries such as these and the Eastern Bloc countries in general.  But any exposure is good exposure!!

Viktoria and I will most likely be in the USA next May though in Florida if any of you are around at Romanza in St. Augustine to celebrate the 450th anniversary of the USA's oldest and most romantic city for the first annual music, arts, theatre and cuisine festival... you gotta come.  Let me know in advance and I may be able to get you a decent place to stay.
