Hi
Cas contacted me the other day with these lyrics and said after writing them she naturally thought of me..... Not sure that I think thats a good thing Cas.....but I couldn't resist the craziness of this one could I

Both Mike and Jay have done stirling jobs bringing my sad bed track to life by weaving their magic and I really thank them for their patience in dealing with a music numpty such as myself.

Hope you like it  :)

Lyrics - Casia
Electric Guitar - Mike Woodford (SnowdogUK)
Piano, Organs, SFX - Jay Schankman (J)
Music, Vox, Drums, Bass, Acoustic Guit, Flute/Strings prog, Production - Ian Burrage (Stonehead)

Creepy Crawlers
By Casia

(V1)
Creepy crawlers creeping up my wall
I can hear them with their buggy calls
I can see them staring
Ready to fly
Like a red baron into my eye

(Chorus)
Creepy crawlers
Hide your daughters
So distasteful
To watch the slaughter
Creepy crawlers
Stay off my collar
Of you'll go deaf
With my hollers

Yeoooow

(V2)
Where's the fly swatter so I can swat
A rolled newspaper is all I've got
I'm on a mission
I'm staring back
My biggest plan...is a freakout attack
Creepy crawlers are fighting back

(Chorus)
Creepy crawlers
Hide your daughters
So distasteful
To watch the slaughter
Creepy crawlers
Stay off my collar
Of you'll go deaf
With my hollers

(Bridge)
I'll never give up
I'll give it my best
Watch me swat
With the best of the best
I'll never give up
I'll give it my best
Watch me swat
With the best of the best
Watch me swat
With my very last breath

(V3)
They're all around me, I've gone insane
Can't close my eyes or I'll feel the pain
They'll steal my blood
With their toothless bite
But I'm a kamakazee pilot tonight
Creepy crawlers drive me insane

(Chorus x2)
Creepy crawlers
Hide your daughters
So distasteful
To watch the slaughter
Creepy crawlers
Stay off my collar
Or you'll go deaf
With my hollers

Yeaoowww

(Outro)
How can I work I can't carry on
With this thing on my wall
All it does is creep, creep and it crawls

Creepy crawlers
Creepy crawlers
Creepy crawlers
Creepy crawlers
Creepy crawlers
Creepy crawlers
Creepy crawlers
Creep, creep, creep, creep....

A productive day in the Stonehead lab-0-ratory ! Your dedication to these collabs is unparalleled. It's always a pleasure working with you.

this one came together really well.. great lyric, great production. Mike's spooky playing was perfect, I think. The song was almost complete when I first heard it.. thanks for letting me play along :)

J you are always welcome ...your playing is superb as always ...I love the honky tonk work which really lifted the mid section.

Great stuff and speedily done which is always good  :) a pleasure to work with you again...I look forward to the next one

Hey Guys,

Very very Cool - very 60s psychedelic. Great spritit, writing, playing and production. Loved the guitars and keys, and of course the singing and drumming.

LSD drenched visions huh?

Stoney you pied piper you - how can you be so prolific - Im lost in admiration.

Buzzing off
Andy

Gertcha hahaah!  That was one of the finest moments of the track.  Very enjoyable.  I would play this in my office for the buggy but I'm sorry to say he has gone to buggy heaven and I don't think it was my fault.
