Hooked from the opening sea, swirling wind fx, and then the almost medieval guitar riff, the music and lyrics carry you with them on the search... very very cool song and top notch performances/production/arrangement from everyone involved.

Andy/Paul... your musical ideas, arrangements and lyrics are staggering and you see your projects through in a true collaborative and dignified manner, you're both a credit to this community.

Cheers
Mike

I loved playing on this.  :)

George can often be found playing stringy things, and singing...

Paul,

Just wanted to say thanks for giving me the chance to work on your very cool lyric. It's always a pleasure to work with you.

George,

A super array of guitars - very well thought out and executed guitar lines. Love the harmony guitar lines. Thanks for your advice and arrangement suggestions.

Steve,

Another fine shimmering vocal - sung with great expression and feel.

J,

Thanks for providing a rich palette of keyboard sounds - very atmospheric with lots of subtle touches throughout.

John,

Great drumming....tastefully restrained but with lots of accents to keep the rhythm track interesting.

Argie,

Thanks for a super mix and being patient with my requests for unlimited tweaks.

This song did take its time ( I rem George saying early on that we should let the song mature slowly - like a fine wine?:) - it took 8 months to complete - but the result is certainly worth it.

Thank you again Paul, George, Steve, J, Argle and John.

Andy

I always enjoy your music Andy.  It's always well thought out and the effort put in to make sure that it all fits tightly together.  I love this, really.  Makes me want to go write.

Great vocals as always Pleasure and wonderful lyrics here Paul and Andy.

Jay, John, George what can I say...nothing but the best.  And Adam knows I love his mixes  :).  Sounds like an ipod song to for me.

WHOAAAA! Splendid performance all round, gentleman.  :) Lyrics, music, arrangement, instruments, vocals, the lot. And of course not forgetting Adam's excellent mix.  ;)

Ditto everything that Mike said about this. The song really does transport the listener to another time and place...

Absolutely top notch.  ;)

Thank you so much Cass. Paul's excellent lyric kind of suggested the mood/music, everything kind of fell  into place!
