This is a collaboration I'm very proud to have been a part of. It was the first or second collaboration I started here over two years ago. It originally started with a riff/chord progression I posted, but has morphed several times into something way more musical than what I could come up by myself. I looked through the whole thread and it's kind of funny seeing how clueless I was to the whole process then
It turned out to be an absolutely awesome song IMO and one of the finest I've been a part of here. Thanks everybody for their contributions! Really outstanding performances by all, truly great lyrics, and a killer mix make this one of my favorites. Lyrics and particular song credits are listed below. Let me know if I forgot anything. It's been a while. Thanks

Lyrics
Two Hearts
Way down in New Orleans
there's a Cajun girl.
Take you by the hand.
She'll take you in her world.
Show you every pleasure.
Turn it all to pain.
Make you beg for mercy
then do it all again.
In a room
off Bourbon Street,
two hearts enter
one heart leaves.
What she'll do
she did to me.
Two hearts enter
one heart leaves.
It's an old story.
Love's her battlefield.
Soldiers misfortune
charging up that hill.
She's a sole survivor
gets what she needs.
Make your soul surrender.
Make your poor heart bleed.
In a room
off Bourbon Street,
two hearts enter
one heart leaves.
What she'll do
she did to me.
Two hearts enter
one heart leaves.
You can pay the price
with just a roll of the dice.
In that room off bourbon street,
you know you found...found paradise
Now you know the story.
There's a Cajun girl.
Way down in New Orleans
take you in her world.
Better stay away.
You better not go near.
Unless you want your heart
to be a souvenir.
In a room
off Bourbon Street,
two hearts enter
one heart leaves.
What she'll do
she did to me.
Two hearts enter
one heart leaves.
In a room
off Bourbon Street,
two hearts enter
one heart leaves.
