Here's a little rock number. Thanks to Doc and Andy for making this one come alive.

Henry (Doc) Mittnacht - lead guitars, rhythm guitars
Andy Gupta - bass
Benny Moore - vocals, rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar, drum programming, mixing

THAT'S WHAT YOU DO
Benny Moore

Your love is good, I can't deny
And you've never, ever made me cry
I'll give you everything I've got
It might not be a lot
But I'll love you till the day I die...till I die

You've never been the kind to complain
Even when our money's down the drain
Life can be so rough
But when I've had enough
Your smile is all that keeps me sane

(Chorus)
Oh, I love you baby, yes I do
And I'll tell you till I'm turning blue
You help me keep it under control
Girl, that's what you do

Stressing everywhere I go
From the time I leave till I get home
But when you hold me tight
I know I'll be alright
You give me strength like I've never known

(Chorus)

(Bridge)
It's all gone crazy and I need a break
My head starts spinning and it's hard to take
The world's going places I don't understand
But it all goes away when you come along and touch my hand

Your love is good, I can't deny
And you really hate it when I cry
Come on and be my friend
To the very end
Girl, I'll love you till the day I die

(Chorus)

Nice one guys. My kind of rock & roll. This is the stuff I like to listen too cranked up in my car cruising down the highway. Sounds great and good mix.  8) 8) 8)

Alright!! 8) I don't know which one woke me up more - this song or my 1st morning coffee, but the combination of the two was excellent ;D
Loved the vocals and backup vocals in the chorus. Also the music was nice and tight.
Way to go guys! :) :)

Andy posted a new bass track, which got me started on a new mix of this one, using a few new mixing techniques I've been messing with. So here it is. I think it's really cool. :)

But Andy, I used your first take on this one. I used "beat detective" to square up the original bass. I think it's rad! 8)  I'll do a mix with your new bass track if you want, but this one is way better in my opinion.

Hi Benny,

The new mix does sound very tight indeed. If you are happy with the old take, let's use that for the finished version!! Just one minor comment, if you could add a touch of definition to the bass.

Re the new take, I'm curious to hear how it sounds in a proper mix, if you get the time could you do an off-line mix with it in?

Thanks!
Andy
