Cheers Roger  :)

Thanks for the feedback CD ...This is the first track on new monitors and I was disturbed just how dull they made everything sound...I think I have gone a little the other way now so I will have to learn to compromise...I think I will post a tweaked mix over the weekend

Ta  Ian  :)

Yeah it's actually a little bright on my system  ,  but it was the lack of bass that was more apparent.

What monitors did you get ?

We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten

MMmmmm...I need to buy some studio monitors....I have been using a set of hand built monitors from a local engineer but the woofer cones have taked a real battering and the outer rings have started breaking free.... so I have a set of small high quality Yamaha hifi speakers that boast "Natural Sound" but I'm sure they have the usual artificial bass boost which is disappointing but they will have to do for a while...I just need to listen to some ref material for a few hours....money is very VERY tight at the moment and I dont want to waste money on poor performing monitors so any suggestions would be appreciated. ::)

I was just reading about the A7's, they look pretty cool. At B&H you can buy a used pair for $375.
