It's not my song and maybe you want it this way or maybe my ears are screwed up, but why does it sound like Brina's voice is up front, but everything else sounds like it's being played down the street and around the corner?

Actually, you might be right Gary... I'm thinking I may have linked to the wrong version of the song.

Love the vocal, love the guitar, love the percussion, love the electric piano, also nice synth sounds.  So, Bobby, your credits didn't speak to the music composition, the keyboard and synth work, the mixing ... I assume all that was you, man.

Nice job, all.  My only crit would be to bring the vocal up front in a couple of spots where it drifts too far back.  Either more compression or make the instrumental a little more dynamic (softer) in those spots (might be hard to do the latter given the style of the song).

Thanks for the comments, folks... Seems, I am having a problem finding a happy medium with the music/vox on this one... I'll take a harder look at it in better environment later this week.  I'll plead guilty of trying to get several off the plate, and maybe not paying enough attention to a couple of them... And am at our lake house on dialup at the moment. I don't do much up/download while I am here. Nor much studio work. Try to use the place as a relaxing visit when we come here.

And yes, the composition and anything not listed in the credits is me. I would rather compliment the folks that offer their talent on my work, than draw attention to myself.
