This song came together so fast I didn't even have time to start a thread here. I initially sent Jay my demo with just guitar/drums/lyrics. He made some nice tweaks/changes to my lyrics and arrangement which got it sounding very nice. I got a friend of mine to do the bass and Henry added some killer lead work that fit perfectly. Jay did a great job mixing this, also. Thanks to both of you for making this one of the best and most polished things I've been a part of. Hope everyone else here enjoys too

Pieces of you lyin on the ground.
How much longer do you make a sound?
Rivers deep under your head.
Turns revolve inside your bed.
Jump and see how high you go.
Not so sure you really wanna know.
You had a watch but got no time.
You took the chance. You'll do the crime.
You're on the run.
Pick it up, but don't put it away.
You're on the run.
Give it some time, but don't give it away.
Fall and be careful where you land.
Not so clear You shoulda had a plan.
You got no moves. You can't play.
You have no turns. You got no say.
You're on the run.
Make a move, but don't make a sound.
You're on the run.
You're best laid plans are gonna bring you...
Down to the wire with a smoking gun.
You had to do it now you're on the run.
You can't go home, but can't stay here
You're living in shadows.
Now you're living in fear.
You're on the run.
Make a move, but don't make a sound.
You're on the run.
You're best laid plans are gonna put you...
On the run.
Pick it up, but don't put it away.
You're on the run.
Give it some time, but don't give it away.
