What else can I say - without the efforts of Henry, Scott, and Jerry, this would never have made it off the drawing board!   8)

Bill - vocals, acoustic guitars
Henry - electric guitars
Scott - bass
Jerry - drums

Quote
Time That Never Was
(words & music by Bill)

Shadows in the moonlight
Castles in the air
Waiting on a time that never was
Whispers of illusion
Ringing in my ears
Steady now, tomorrow never comes

Voices of the ages
Call across the years
Proclaim the best that's ever been
Dreams of the fathers
All disappear
Time that never was will come again

Ashes burning
Dust in the wind
Lessons of the ancients fade away
Sins unforgiven
Faded and dim
Come back to haunt another day

Those who fail to learn
From the mistakes of days gone by
Are destined to repeat them
And they stand and wonder why....

Awake!  The sleeper rises
Open up your eyes and see
Time that never was
Will be the legend that we leave
Nostalgia just ain't what it used to be...

Just wanted to say thanks for including me on this one... it was a real pleasure to work with you Bill, that goes for Henry and Scott too... It's great when a collab moves along so quickly and smoothly from start to finish! 8) Jerry

Very good listen, you're right Henry, it moves quite well through the phases.

Was my first collab on this site. Gotta say this is probably the best site for online collab work. Ive collabed on several other sites, but this one seems to have the most "life" to it.

Again Bill, Henry and Jman, was a pleasure doing work with you guys. Glad you decided to keep your vocals on this Bill.

My thanks to all of ya's for the kind words - and most especially to Henry, Scott, and Jerry for making it happen.   I may be an acoustic player, mostly the folk/ballad sort - that's what I do best - but even so, I get the urge to rock the house from time to time, too!  This wasn't the first time I've tried it, and won't be the last, but I'd have to say that it's the most successful ever!   8)

Yeah, it did go fast, and as smooth as any collab I've ever done - and that's a credit to you guys!  From my end it was like everybody knew just exactly what was needed, and just did it!  Couldn't ever ask for more than that!   :) :) :)

What's next - who knows?  Guess our various muses will determine that...  ;) ;D :D

Hi Preston! I consider myself as one of Germanys biggest Kansas fans out there! I was listening to them during my adolesence and played to their albums. Later we did covers of Carry on and several others :)
Cool you here that influence!

@Paulo: Rithcie was my very first guitar hero, but shortly after my Deep Purple period Eddie came to town  ;D

Great mood you've created on this one guys , I really like it.  Bill your vocals deserve to be turned up louder in the mix.

CD
We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten
