Power of the Night! COMPLETE

Hi Everyone!

Here is a completed collaboration.  It is a cover of a song by a band called Savatage; a early to mid 80's metal band.  One of my personal favorites.  The guitar player and his wife were killed by a drunk driver when he was just hitting his peak.

It has been a true dream of mine to cover this song for YEARS and with the help of some VERY talented folks here at MCS, it has finally happened.

I really want to think about this song as more of a Tribute to Criss Oliva more than just a cover of some obsure metal song.  Criss and Savatage really inspired me to play drums when I was young and I think that we have remade this song doing it TOTAL justice... which was VERY important for me personally.

I will list the players in the next post... Vista gives me fits about long posts.  Thanks so much for the listen and THANK YOU to all who helped in the effort!

Great stuff Jon, and I gotta say that your enthusiasm is what really pulled this together.. everyone gave 150% on this. It's a totally respectable cover, and I think everyone involved should be proud of it. Criss has gotta be looking in and smiling.

Gotta agree with Jay, even if it wouldn't have turned out so well...Jon's enthusiam made this a blast to be a part of and alot of laughs along the way...the way music is SUPPOSED to be like, sure there will be plenty more where this came from...great job everyone!

Wow guys,

What a fabulous bone crunching performance!!

Super playing, singing and once again another dream mix from Argie!!

What's really impressive is the effortless interplay within the musicians while tackling those tricky accents, specially on an internet collab.

Great track, into the i-pod!!

Jon, you should be pretty well pleased with this. Great drumming btw.

Marc, your bass never sounded more better, amazed at the tones you get!

Considering also, this was the FIRST song I ever started here.... after all the years I've been around at artistcollaboration and now MCS......

As a drummer..... it's kinda hard to start a song.....LOLOLOLOLOLOL
