This is the first time I listened to both versions and I don't think I recall the original.  Both are great tracks,... I think I prefer the clarity of Argles mix and Steve's vox totally gives me shivers.

I know this isn't a competition,.. just giving an objective opinion.

Really great job everyone!!

Excellent job everyone.
I'm not familiar with the original, but as I was listening from the intro into the "power" it occurred to me that this would be an great production for a video as well.
Have you thought about doing that?
I'll bet you'd get a lot of hits on youtube.
The mix was spot on, IMO.
I don't usually enjoy listening to power guits but I didn't even have to turn down the volume.  ;D
Whoever mixed this brought it right to the edgy edge.
Only one thing i would have liked to have heard was the end fading with some heavy reverb into the infinite night.
So when are you guys going on the road?  ;)
ciao, Dan

Thanks Dan!!!!  Probably no video in site for this one.  Although, that is GREAT idea!  Just don't have the time to try and pull a video together for it.

Thanks for the kind words and the listen, Dan!

Jon
