Another one done from Benny and the Misplaced Texans!!
The lyric is loosely based around the three monkeys from ancient Japanese and Tao folklore. The three monkeys - see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil (actually there's a fourth monkey who does no evil, which is apt considering we have four musicians on this one!!). This theme has been referenced in the lyric, which is basically about a ''boy-girl" situation where the girl is a little difficult to get through to !!!
We tried making the sound a little "Beatles-like" as well.
Great performances from all, especially Benny with a great vocal, Doc (Henry) with super guitar work (check out the 2nd solo) and backing harmonies, and solid yet inventive tom-tom driven drums from Ian.
