Great song - I liked the unusual production on it too - specially at the beginning!! its kind of lo-fi but it works I think.

Tricia, I am impressed with the way you are coming up with lyrics/songs. You have a nice ear for a catchy hook - and the singings great.

The piano is a nice touch too!!

Yes, CD, last December, we heard loud cracking noises in the night while trees cracked all around our home, due to the weight of thick ice coating their branches.
 
So scary!  Then we lost electricity, water,and heat for 6 days along with half the state of New Hampshire.

Meanwhile, I learned a few chords from a book (reading by candlelight), and I wrote this song!

When I went to see Snow Patrol , they explained about a similar situation where they had no electricity due to a lightening strike , I think it was for a couple of days and they wrote in several parts on the latest album some songs called  called The Lightening Strike.
