Hi All,

I thought of making some screencasts of how I use Band In A Box as a songwriting tool. I thought I'd see if anyone had any interest?

Sure. I've used BIB. It's just another tool for songwriting. There's many ways to go about writing a tune and that's a good one if your a bit stalled on what to write. As long as you replace it all with real instruments to get the human feel and allow the artists to take it into it's own direction what the hell.   :)

I don't like bands in a box. Drummers hog up all the room and it's so tight in there.  ???

We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten

What dog? :-)

I ran into a hickup today trying to do some screencasting. A key part of what I am trying to record isn't in the audio chain for me to record. Trying to work through that!

I get carried away with it sometimes.

So this is an example:

I write the song first in BIAB then add vox and guitars.

So it's cool and all but it does get crowded in there.

That and I switch styles to drastically, Casia said it sounds like two different songs.

But I like the change.

Think I just have to clear out some notes so the vox has a place to sit.
