Black And White (Ballad)
on:
November 17, 2008, 11:17:43 PM
Music: Stoman
Vocals: Mimmo
Lyrics: Eugene Lyricist
Here and there a man that feels
Uncertainty about his love
he won't find anything there
he won't find it any where
as winter turns to spring
the light will deceive his youth
the hurt of his life with out love
his growth in life is black and white
as the day turns to night
the sun falls below the trees
he calls unto her
as she sees him for black and white
but as springs turns to fall
and the light deceives his youth
she looks in side him
the fairytale becomes truth
the truth seems to be black and white
she starts to follow the light
her faith starts to change
Uncertainties of life changes into light
when fall turns to winter
they find theirselves fading within the night
as the air over comes the night
the night turns into day
the truth turns to love
winter turns into spring
our youth turns into love
and his Uncertainty fades
to black and white

I loved doing this song. And I love the result.
Mimmo we've run out of open projects, haven't we? Time for a new ballad?
Regards,
Steffen

Nice...I like all the strings and stuff
CD
We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten

I tried to tame the hiss and crackle on the vocal track a bit. But I definitely need a new, clean take for a decent result.
Here is my updated mix.

Steffen

Steffen
here is the new vox for it.I do like it the way it is, I think the feel of the music makes me sing it like that.
I'll see what I can do about the vibrato.

Thanks, Mimmo!
I love the way you sing it there, don't get me wrong! I just thought it would be nice to hear the song in a more Sinatra like style, like in "It Was A Very Good Year". Additionally, that is.

Steffen
