Took me a little while to finish this one off. Actually i didn't make any real changes of late. I was hoping to replace the vocals. I had a few attempts to improve them myself but like most songs it's out of my range.   ::) Anyway i didn't want this to sit arouind forever so here it is. I am very grateful for all the musicians' invaluable contributions.  :) :)

Errol,

I like what everyone has done here. Kudos!

There is some digital distortion or clipping  going on. I think it's the vocal track.

Check that out and see if it's in the track or the final mix.

That sounds better Errol!

Not sure how much compression you are using on the vox...could maybe use a little more so the soft passages don't get lost.

Also maybe try adjusting the Eq on your vocal. I would lower 200hz by about 2-4db with a Q of 1.0 to 1.4. That will add clarity.

Hope that helps.

so I think that uses VST or DX plug-ins.  there should be some free ones out there (google) if you don't have a compressor plug-in.  I usually insert a 4:1 - 7:1 compression on the vocals (rock, pop stuff).  helps even it out and keep it "up front".
