Steve - PM me if I've got this wrong, and I'll fix the post ;).

Night Groove

(Verse 1)
I bide my days on this factory floor, running ten hours to the ground
Another faceless soul to the big payroll, and a purpose that I've never found
I'm running on just like a mouse in a wheel, turning around and round
The dynamo that keeps me drivin' on is that hot-rockin' bluesy sound

(Verse2)
As sure as evening comes I feel the need to run, I need to break out and feel alive
To hear the sound that's hot, a beat that never stops in that smoky little honky-tonk dive
I like those downtown bars with the screaming guitars and the parties that never end
Although I promise myself I need to stay home n' rest
Tonight I know I'll surely do it again

(Chorus)
I've joined the night groove
Where I can free my soul, enjoy that rockin' blues all night long
I've joined the night groove
I'm going to sing my song, don't even try to say I'm doing me wrong
When in the night groove
The music keeps me sane, in this world that's spinnin' outta control
I live my life the way that I choose to live, I guess I've never really fit in the mold

Yeah...

(guitar solo)

(Verse 3)
You can drive that fancy German car and your plasma screen on the wall,
Inside your great big home bought on that sub-prime loan, until the banker man decides to call
I've got my one-room flat and my beat-up Strat and a subway that will get me around
There will be plenty of time for me to get some rest
When I am six feet below the ground

(Chorus)

I'm in the night groove
I'm in the night groove
I'm in the night groove
Woa, in the night groove

Come on and groove
Woooaaa... night groove

George can often be found playing stringy things, and singing...

Strange...I listened to this only just tonight.....I burned a CD so I could check my mix of Destiny in the car , and put this on it too .....had it blasting on the way back from the Pub, and was thinking how good it was.
