This is the 2nd song of my own that I've finished since joining the MC...I was surprised to see it's been 6 months since I completed the first one ' Beautiful Game '. I seem to have been involved in quite a few other tracks here in one way or another, so the time has really flown by....it's been great fun.
Like most of my songs this took quite a while to come together , I started it over 4 years ago but didn't like the original chorus. So it sat on the shelf until I wrote another chorus for it which I was much happier with....I think the original rough version was done on Sonar 2 !
I'm truly grateful for the talent here that I can call upon to get my songs finished 'cause without you guys they'd probably be on the shelf still , or just not as good as they are now. Makes me wonder what I did before I joined this place ??
LOST
We'll never know what was lost
We'll try again but it's only because........just because
A ray of sun through the rain
A tiny spark but feelings remain
Remain the same
Chorus
And I....... will wait here for you
What more can I do
My heart goes with you
And I....... will always miss you
Won't even kiss you
Like I was meant to
Verse 2
We'll never know what was found
Head in the clouds but our feet on the ground
We make no sound
We'll plant a tree with your name
We'll watch it grow as the sun turns to rain
To numb the pain
RPT Chorus
End
And we're staring down into the wishing well
Like if we close our eyes , it could break the spell
And we don't know the reason why you've gone
We're just two minus one.

We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten
