I was investigating the jamming site Jam Now. When ever I started a session my audio interface sounded like a ring modulator which in the past was realated to buffer size. Theres a support page that says
We used the Centrance Audio Driver designed to reduce the latency and enhance the quality for a number of audio applications using firewire including the Firepod. The latency is reduced but is still lengthy for the JAM application. The sound quality is excellent. We haven't been able to establish a connection to JAM when using the drivers that come with Firepod.
