Forgive my inability to NOT vent on stupid Preachers! They just annoy me soooo much!
I'm not saying they are all like that. But I think some of the actual quotes in this song make my point.

Thanks to these guys they make it all happen.
George......................Vocals
J..................................Keys, Synth
Bill............................Guitars, Bass, Lyrics, Mix
Nick and Mark ........Advice and keeping the lights on!

Blood On The Floor

[Verse 1]
down the rabbit hole
into the belly of the dark
the piper beckons
train of reality to depart
People labeled sheeple
non-participants in my game
come join my revolution
share my ball and chain

[Chorus]
put on your big boy pants
I don't play your Democrat game
all up in here, we cast out evil spirits
no masks, no parking for the lame
I'll bust you in the mouth
drag you to the door
can you feel the love yet?
Oops....got blood on the floor!

[Verse2]
love, peace, and patience
fruit, this tree doesn't bear
hate, war, and corruption
are the badges these wolves wear
spews fire from his throne
adorned red, white, and blue
a holy insurrection
disguised as truth

[Chorus]
put on your big boy pants
I don't play your Democrat game
all up in here, we cast out evil spirits
no masks, no parking for the lame
I'll bust you in the mouth
drag you to the door
can you feel the love yet?
Oops....got blood on the floor!

[Bridge]
wines and dines
the alfa wolf
I'd like a share of your flock
I'll eat crow
carry your magic coat
in your shadow, walk

[Chorus]
put on your big boy pants
I don't play your Democrat game
all up in here, we cast out evil spirits
no masks, no parking for the lame
I'll bust you in the mouth
drag you to the door
can you feel the love yet?
Oops.....got blood on the floor

[Outro]
commitment is an inconvenience
but there's a lion in my path
I'll take a skin of the truth, stuff it with a lie
then take out the trash
down the hole to darkness
follow the mole
infiltrated daylight
piece of devil's soul

Sounds fantastic!! Ooo lala!

Bill, I think the counterpoint idea worked really well. I'm not used to hearing meself so prominent in a mix! The guitar/keyboard we do works very well, I think.

George, you play a villainous, corrupt American Preacher from the south with a lion in your pants, very well! You could probably make an AI video for that. I'm staying away from that one. ;D You made the song, as always!

I just now realized we were a three piece on this one. That's why it sounds just like Rush! ;D Great job guys, Bill you spent a lot of time on the mix and really shined that apple up.

Reminds me of being a kid, probably the first time alone on the merry go round. Scared at first (George's lion) but at the end of the ride I was like "let's do it again!  let's do it again!"

"again" !!  ;D

Yeah, I'm a sucker for 60s and 70's era B3 heavy in the mix! (Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Argent etc...)
You guys are great to work with!

Nice one guys! Great performances all around.

Bill - I think the mix is a tad bass shy.

Thanks Andy.
Yeah, Nick said so also. I did bring it up some but apparently not enough. I'm used to mixing the bass hot. Probably over-correcting.

Bill, I have to agree with Andy. I've had the chance to listen and I was wondering if there was bass in this, but I just never asked lol

Thank you, Andy!

I liked the initial mix you posted, but the one with a little more bass is just a hair better. Both were good.

It reminds me more of Uriah Heep now :)

Bill, I think the B3 is just a touch hotter than the guitar. Maybe throughout.. If you are still putting a final touch on it, maybe consider that. I've had a day to live with it and I did notice that it stands out a little.
