YESTERDAYS LOVE - Frank (Zax), Al (catfish)

well, much behind on my music work... the part time job took for a few months lasted longer & wore me out...
anyway, season's over, glad i did, cash money never hurts....

yesterdays love all started due to an idea that Andy had posted.
Frank (Zax) & I split off Andy's original idea.

to make a long story short, Frank (Zax) made short time of putting some country rock structure to Andy's idea..
then my part to add vocals, with harmony & a touch of B3.

beat my brains back & forth, with ideas til i finally fell onto Yesterdays Love...
that, i thought that b a good name & idea. we all had 'em & some of us, still remember & think about 'em...
folks say song lyrics mainly some from real life experience. i agree, @ least when it comes to my tired old worn out brain. they say we can't remember yesterday, but old memories are like yesterday... believe they r correct...

Frank (Zax) deserves all the credit for the music.  can he pick? u bet!!! Frank's a great musician.
also,  did a masterful job in mixing the hodgepodge of tracks i bestowed upon him.... his being able to dissect all those little harmony tracks,,,a mind tickler...

put much time into lyrics & Back Up's...

my only regret is that i lost the Poco feeling of my 1st take.
that part of project did not survive on my Daw.
that initial take had more realism.
the Poco feeling was there, as rough as it was...

but, so be it... we got us a very cool country rock song, here...., anyways....

was Andy's idea, though we put many hours into...

when it finally came 4 me , it was like a flood. especially the back up vocals...
 & yea!,,,, Frank captured the feel so very well... without that there would have been nothing to work to...

aimed for Poco, missed, then came Yesterday's Love...
pretty good song, me thinks...
