Hi MCS,
An up to date version of this "toon" not much different performance wise from the last super version, but I took the chance to redo the bass track.
This time I cajoled Frank in helming the mix seat, and he responded with a solid mix.
Once again I am reminded of the fantastic talent of the musos who were on board for this song.
Tune Into The Station 140bpm (c) (Andy Gupta/Steve McAndrew/Frank Zax)
V1
Hey out there, people on the street
Don't waste your time with that canned in beat
C'mon and join us at the alternative
V2
Airwave anthems sent across the globe
Doing their bit to save rock and roll
C’mon and join us at the place to live
Pre-Ch 1
Go set the dial of no denial
Listen to the music and move to the beat
That starts in your head, right down through your feet
There’s nothing can be better than this
This musical drug that you can’t resist
Ch 1
Tune in, turn on to the Classic Rock show
That’s only just began, with hours to go
C’mon tune into The Station
Whether at your workplace, in your home, or your car
No matter where you go or wherever you are
C’mon and join us at The Station
V3
If you’re feeling kinda down, needle turning red
Just build the bridge between earphones and head
And tune into The Station
V4
It can come at you fast or it can come real slow
As you listen to those cats, with their talent on show
Tune into The Station
Pre-Ch 2
Crank up the volume
Systems set to full stun
Listen to the music to the magic sound
From the Silver/black discs spinning round and round
Nothing can be better than this
This musical drug that you can’t resist
Ch 2
Tune in, turn on to the Classic Rock show
That’s only just began, with hours to go
C’mon tune into The Station
Whether on the bus or in the airport lounge
Return to the magic of the gold you’ve found
C’mon and join us at The Station
Out
C’mon and join us at the Station
C’mon and join us at the Station
