This was one of my first instrumental songs ever, and I'm extremely happy that Frank, Andy and Mark helped turn it into a very nice piece of music by replacing the MIDI instruments with real ones. Thanks to all three of you, it really makes a big difference!

Special kudos to Frank for staying so close to the original MIDI guitar arrangement and still adding a lot of soul and individuality to it!

Guitars: Frank Zax
Bass: Andy Gupta
Drums: Mark Cole
Music & Production: Steffen Offermann

even though i'm not a big fan of instrumentals this is pretty cool.
very soothing - almost tranquil.
i could see/hear this in a movie...maybe a sequence showing a guy riding a motorcycle or driving a convertible on the open road leaving behind his troubled life looking to to start anew on the other side of the country showing all the different scenery as he makes his way from one coast to the other.
everyone did a great job.
and yeah, Steffen does have a great sense of melody.
and Frank is one hell of a guitar player as proven once again by another great collab performance.

rock-n-roll ain't pretty --- that's why they picked us to play it.

Thanks for listening, guys!

I just added a minor update. Same mix, but I carved out some of the low mids on the master that kept bugging me.

I always hear that a couple of weeks later ...

This is beautiful, lads. Has an uplifting but at the same time a kind of haunting quality about it.
Lots of lovely texture. Good work. :)

Great playing, sounds like the theme song for a road movie....maybe through Mexico
We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD

Thanks, everybody!

The band was really great, everybody did an awesome job.

I consider myself very lucky that I had the chance to do a handful of songs with Mark on drums before he left us.

R.I.P, Mark! I'm not religious, but if I'm wrong, and there is a heaven, then I'm sure you will be playing lots of great gigs there.
