Another oldie.....originally written as a slow rock ballad, then Smithie & I took turns at re-arranging the song into a more uptempo number.

And there it lay, until recently when we decided to do a new/proper version. The "Doctor" came up with a brilliant final arrangement which really brought the song to life. Henry's production skills are getting better with every song he works on. Great job!

The performances are super too, from Smithie's great vocal, Henry's excellent production, singing and guitar playing skills, and of course Mark's airy yet punchy drums part.

I really love the end result, thanks guys!

Finally!
I love the lyrics a lot and of course SmithC´s singing is really great.
Again I learned a lot especially with working on real drums which always come excellently recorded and played by Mark!
I´m always fascinated of Andys bass ideas which are really unique and always tasty as well!!!

Thanks for trusting me again on arranging and producing your songs, guys!
I know how hard it can be letting others messing with "your baby"... the song...!

Hi Henry,

It was great the way all of us worked together on this song, it's the closest we can get to being in a room rehearing and perfecting a song.

Your arrangement ideas were spot on and enhance the song!!

And thanks for the compliment about my bass playing, it is much appreciated  :).

Andy

We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten

i kinda thought it might be. kinda transistor radio sounding and then kicking into the song.

Yep. I have the same fx on the strings, so the complete intro has it.
It appears later again on the bridge (befor the solo) only on the ad lip vocals...
