This song was a collaboration between Billy Wade, Billy Playle and myself.

Billy Wade sent me the a-capella idea for this song and I created a rough midi demo based on that idea. Then I asked Billy Playle to help us with real guitars, and he did way more than that and created a full arrangement. The only thing left for me to do was edit the final lead vocals and mix the song. I did not even bother to look for a drummer as the midi drums that Billy had provided suit the song pretty well IMO.

Billy Wade: Lyrics, Lead Melody
Billy Playle: Arrangement and All Instruments
Steffen Offermann: Editing and Mixing

Regards,
  Steffen

I forgot to mention: Billy P. has also done a nice guide vocal track along with his arrangement. I'll create a mix with his vocals too and add it to this thread when I find the time.

I love it :)

It sounds lot like Los Lobos.

George can often be found playing stringy things, and singing...

 8) Cool!, Nice guitar chops, Billy!

Seems we´re all spreading our horizon towards other stylistics in music, eh?

As long as it doesn't mean we're getting old... ;D ;D ;D

That song and the singer reminds me a lot of one of my favourite bands, the Mavericks!

I love it! Great work guys!

The Mavericks...yes... I knew it reminded me of someone !

Who cares if we are getting old....as long as we do it disgracefully  >:D

This one is pretty cool Steffen and I hear a 'depth' in the mix that I've missed in some of your other work.

CD
We never finish a mix... we simply abandon them.
You can't polish a turd, but you can always spray paint it GOLD
Great songs are not written, they are re-witten
