I was browsing through Paul's lyric forum and stumbled upon these lyrics. I decided to create a big band composition as this was what came to my mind as soon as I saw them.

this is great.
i saw those lyrics a while back and wanted to use them but didn't have anything i thought worked.
this is perfect.
nice job.

and extra note about Paul's lyrics...
i love the way he tells a story or paints a picture with his lyrocal themes even if i have to rewrite a bit to fit the rhythmic pattern of my voice. it's his ideas that seem to come to life when reading his lyrics. at least for me.

Great as usual, the arrangement matches the mood.  My daughter went to NYU and now lives in Manhattan.  Just visited with her on Father's day and she moved thru lower Manhattan as if she owned it.

Thanks for giving this one a chance, it is always a pleasure to have you pick one of my lyrics.  I have never been disappointed.

Maybe 'charming' isn't the right word, but it's the one that came to mind when I heard this.

Love your production and vocals, as always, Billy. The genre suits the lyrics perfectly.
I enjoyed the text, Paul. Got a kick out of 'But sometimes she says yes'.
If the lyric is essentially a description of your daughter, she sounds like a foxy, feisty lady.
