It took a while, and there were times when I thought this project was dead. But I'm glad we pushed it over the finish line.

I attached two differently mastered versions of the final mix. In 20110510_01 (master v4) I brought up the center of the mix (vocals, kick, snare). That master sounds clearer, but also narrower. The other one, 20110512_01, emphasizes the side signals a little more which results in a wider stereo perception.

Edit: I bought a(nother) new toy, so I had to do a new master. I also did some minor adjustments to the mix itself, and I think it sounds better this way. The latest version is 20110515_01_v2.

Sounds great, guys... Italian is a beautiful language and what I like about it is that i understand most of it although I never learned it at school and I've never been in Italia, it is very similar to portuguese.

Hey Steffen, that arrangement rocks all the way... What are you using on the brass section in the end?

Paulo, I have a lot of friends that are portuguese, and I've worked with some too.
I learned a few potuguese words here and there, but many of them understud and spoke italian very well.

Paolo, the sax section was done using the "Chris Hein Horns" library. I don't know which one exactly as I own v1 and v2. I may have used both. What I do remember is that I used two tenor saxes and one alto sax.

And, I think I used PSP OldTimer to add some analog valve touch that glues them nicely together.

BTW, I just posted a new master where I used some new gear. See first post!
