Here is my test with Stoman and you.  I stopped singing after the bridge, because I don't know how to sing with Stoman's melody. Mine clashes with his. You tell me what to do.
You can transpose it down a little.

I have to agree with Soufronti on this, it seems Stoman's version may be better as an instrumental, while the original seems more in line with the lyrics.

You sound good in either case though, the original is less busy.
