A song by me and an off-site musician, Eric Glass (aka "Ender"). More than 8 minutes of prog-rock goodness.
I started with some lyrics by Johnny, and edited them and added some more. We took it in the direction of being an allegory on Hollywood.

MousetownIn the black neon light
That Mousetown calls a night
The rats are running silent through the maze
Searching for the sick
And playing dirty tricks
For all the cats who gather round graze
She flies all around
With her soul un-bound
Looking down on Mousetown
Her eyes are round
And she hears every sound
Looking down in Mousetown
Rats are keeping watch
At the city walls
They plot with fatted cats
For the weak, the meek and the very small
They run for their meals
She listens to them squeal
As they run themselves to death
turning little mouse wheels
A big mouse parade is all the rage in the downtown
Where the streets are a maze filled with alley-ways
All the mice get lost as they march around
Down in Mousetown
High on her perch
She hears the Mousetown church
A squeaky choir singing of redemption
To the Greatest Mouse, on high
Who lives up in the sky
And gives every mouse his personal attention
Buzzards love to hover
Above those dirty rats
Consuming what's leftover
From all those fat, lazy cats
For magical soy beans
Spliced with jelly-fish genes
And water laced
With mousy waste and gasoline
A big mouse parade is all the rage in the downtown
Where the streets are a maze filled with alley-ways
All the mice get lost as they march around
Down in Mousetown
Ooh Mousetown
The mice are tricked by rats who lead them by the tail to cats
For a moment they are popular
When eaten they are forgotten
Until the next best mouse comes along
When they're caught they squeal, and feign surprise
The dirty rats have caught them with their poisoned lies
Scurrying, running and hiding
Their little legs almost a blur
They run for their lives when they realise
They're food for the rest of the world
Wide-eyed and hopeful
Another batch into the fray
Like lambs to the slaughter
Some won't survive to the end of the day
An all-you-can-eat free-for-all
Fatted cats just got to eat
Naively the mice never realise they exist,
Purely to feed the cats
She flies all around
With her soul un-bound
A big mouse parade is all the rage in Mousetown
She flies all around
With her soul un-bound
A big mouse parade is all the rage in Mousetown
She flies all around
With her soul un-bound
A big mouse parade is all the rage in Mousetown
Magical soy beans
Spliced with jelly-fish genes
A big mouse parade is all the rage in Mousetown
Scurrying, running and hiding
Little legs almost a blur
