I know what you're saying about the bottom end, but I think it may take different tom sounds to get where you want to be, or maybe I just don't know how it could be done... Anyway, I think you did a great job on the original mix. You should post a high def copy of the master for people like me! (.wav, .ape, .flac)

i have been sitting here trying to figure out what the heck YMMV means. 

i was afraid i went too far the other way. looks like i need to find a happy medium. or maybe just leave it be. i can't help but to think i make it just a tad better if i can just clean up the mud.
who knows...i think maybe i need to move on to some new things i got brewing before i drive myself crazy.

thanks again Mark for the drumming and the audio input - i always seem to second guess myself on that aspect.

I cannot say much about the mixes at the moment as I simply don't hear enough. I'll give them a listen when/if my ears get better.

okay. last & final mix. well...until i mess with it again. 

i tried to make it more like the original with a little less muddiness.
definitely not as bright as those other mixes but i think just a bit more clarity than the original mix.
what say y'all?
