Didn't realize this was a music Only section...hard to get noticed in the poetry/lyrics section..when hardly anyone goes there..

Actually a few of us visit that place often. I do. Don't always comment but I read a lot of them. Keep them in my mind for future reference. I know, for the lyricists here it's tough to get something going. It can be done if the words jive wih someone. Sometimes it's good to hook up with a singer. Then find the players. That's what Casia & Echo are doing with my music.

Hi Dave

Thanks for understanding ( I know alot of you guys are Multi-talented with writing your own lyrics and doing your own music)..so right off the bat I am at a disadvantage, and yes it has become increasingly frustrating, at least for me....both my song lyrics that are in Studio A are sitting idle...and all I can do is sit and wait....when I had such high hopes, and there is nothing I can do to move them along...while I watch others get finished.  I have posted quite a few lyrics over the last couple months and if I do say so myself I think some are really good, yes they may need tweaking to fit to music..but they are barely getting any traffic in lyrics/ poetry...that's why I was posting more elsewhere trying to get noticed....I will still stay optimistic in hopes that others like yourself will pass the word that there are some really good lyrics posted on this site and that they will stop by and take a second look...until then ...I will continue waiting...Regards Mike

I would take a crack at one if I could sing it. I'm not a great singer but I would give it a try. I want to this year. Soooo we'll see. This particular lyric is good. I could see some music to this. I'll see if I can tackle one to get it going. Writing the music is the easy part for me. 

Ask Casia what she does to get her lyrics to music. She seems to get lots going.
