Very happy to bring this nice song to the finishing line , thanks to the very talented Daniel and Henry.

And thank you all for listening

                        Music/vocals/mixmaster: Domenic Mercurio
                                   Lyrics: Daniel B Young
                                  Guitars: Henry Mittnacht

DADDY'S LOVE
Memories filled of you
Ring like a song.
Thoughts are of you
Dusk through dawn.
All though at times
The words seemed wrong.
Their love for you
Is never gone
Their smiles are for you,
You all the time.
To give them up
Would be a crime.
We take a vow
And the bonds are strong.
Daddy's Love,
Is never gone.
Their pride is with you
Etched in your heart
So strong a love
Where tear-drops start.
  Like the morning dew
Upon the lawn,
Daddy's Love,
Is never gone.
Like a falling star
That blinks in the sky.
Not always visible
To the awakening eye.
To the awakening eye.
.At times impatient,
Our day-dreams are strong
And at times in the night,
Our hearts do long.
But a DADDY'S LOVE,
Is never gone.
No, No DADDY'S LOVE
Is never gone
Their pride is with you
Etched in your heart
 A Daddy's Love,
Is never gone.
Don’t feel all alone.
It's a time for young hearts,
To realize they've grown
Like the morning dew
Upon the lawn,
Daddy's Love,
Is never gone.
Like a falling star
That blinks in the sky.
Not always visible
To the awakening eye.
To the awakening eye.
Daddy's Love

Is that you Henry? Is there anything you can`t do?
Sweet song makes me want to  listen to more jazz.

A woman is on trial for beating her husband to death with his guitar collection.
The judge says "First offender?"
The woman says "No, first a Gibson, then a fender."

@Frank and Cy: Thanks, guys... but I´m really just kinda "pretending"  ;D ;D ;D
I had the complete chord sheet and the chordchanges are pretty predictable every 2 bars.
On the solo I just play arpeggios on the given chords, except where I go on Fminor and use a little inside/outside trick coming from the minor blues pentatonic that I recently picked up from a guy named David Walliman. He runs a couple of lesson on youtube  ;). So... it´s all the same water cooking here  ;)

Henry, you are very humble and that's a great quality!  But... things like feel, rhythm, timing, phrasing.... you can't get that from a chord chart.   ;)
