There's one digital amp model I love and use for almost everything: the "Litigator" by Line 6. I use a Line 6 PodGo which has the same amp sounds as their Helix series, with less switching and routing options. The Helix accurately models loads of real amps, but Line 6's own "Litigator" model knocks them all into touch for me. I love the name, it started out based on boutique amps (such as Dumble) which are so ludicrously expensive that only wealthy lawyers who play guitar for a hobby can afford.

Well done, Nick! Is this your brother? your son? Sounds a lot like Blink 182. Very slick and polished, radio ready!

It's the B-3X, a collaboration between IK Multimedia and the Hammond Corp.

I played it for the first time and I fell in love.  :D

I am really enjoying this song.

Jay - what B3 plug did you use? Sounds great.

Very smooth mix!

Hi George,

The tweak on the bass sounds good, I would say this remix with this bass level is a keeper.

However, if I could trouble you further tweak the bass just a smidgeon more, to "see' or hear how it sounds. (But save the current version!!)

Do post up the wav versions when you have the time.

Great job!
Andy

I tweaked it just now. I can nudge bass up further if you like. Sorry , I must have knocked the bass level down without realising.

HI George,

In the remix, everything sounds top class, but the bass has pretty much disappeared.

I liked the way the bass sounded in the previous (final) mix.

Andy

Hi, I have just updated the mix in the OP.

Jay invested in an improved Organ sound so resupplied his part. He also added a couple of small synth "swells" in the opening section which are lovely.

I did some minor tweaks to other levels and EQ while I was in there, which resulted in a slightly "heavier" overall sound to the mix.

Yes, everyone has really taken it to another level! Wonderful part, it's great to make music with you again, Andy.

Great job guys, glad to be part of this marvelous collaboration.

Steve pulled out all the stops on the skins, and the technical wizardry from George on guitar and J on keys is simply astounding.

You guys have the chops - totally pro!
