Title: Crawlin'...remixed an older track

I wrote this song with my friend about 10 years ago...about 4 years ago I decided to update , but had a drive crash and lost the files.

I was recently going through some unmarked CD roms and found a stereo bed of the remix I'd done, so I've dubbed the vocals onto it.

Ideally I'd have liked to do more work on the mix , but I don't have any seps and I was lucky to find the voxless bed I guess.

So here is both the old and new versions, I'd like to know which one you prefer so I can choose a version for my Album.

The new one is with me singing, the old one is my buddy....he's off on tour again so he's outta reach for recording for a year or so.

Missed this one somehow.  ??? Mark, I really like the original. It has a darker heavier sound. I really like the vibe of it. The second is just that, a remix. Just different, but for my 2 cents I like the original better.  :)

Thanks Dave...!  Better late than never..

I re-listened a couple of weeks after the OP and decided I preffered the old one myself too...so much for the re-mix  :'(

I do that all the time. I think I did a great re-mix and go back and the original was better. I think because I was more in tune with it the first time.

They both sound good Mark.

What most amazes me in the internet forums is the variety of unknown people doing preety audible stuff... I gotta be honest, this is the kind of music that I don't like much but  ::)... It sounds damn good according to the style... Very nice CD. I can't do such a thing 'cause I dunno where to start.

oh, are you guys talking about wives? Hmmm!!! They don't like us to waiste time on this stuff  :P
