Many thanks to Gary, Steve, John and Ian for providing such fantastic input to this song. The bass lines are exquisite, quite magnificent Gary. John and Steve between them produced a fantastic lyric and Steve's heartfelt rendition is superb. Ian's drums, as usual, of the highest quality, provide a rock solid foundation for the rest of us. Wonderful stuff guys.. a pleasure to make music with you all.

Bass - Gary Pownall (Floouk)
Vox - Steve McAndrew (Pleasuredome)
Drums - Ian Burrage (Stonehead)
Guitars/Keys/Music - Mike Woodford (SnowdogUK)
Lyrics - John Scunziano and Steve McAndrew

V1
In the twilight of our years is our heart and soul content?
Do we feel our time on this earth has been time so wisely spent?

V2
Will worldly goods be of comfort as our time to go draws near?
Or will time itself be the item both we'll cherish and most fear?

CH 1
For every new day dawned upon us, with our loved ones standing near
Proves that time has not denied us of the love of someone dear
When our time draws close around us, still our loved ones standing near
Beyond what money could ever buy us, the love of someone oh so dear

V3
Not one of us can say exactly when our time will surely come
Yet we live each day still hoping,  today is not our final one

V4
So should we contemplate the seesaw between the future or the past
Or just rejoice with friends and loved ones as if each day will be our last?

Chorus 2

Middle 8

Chorus 3

Out
So Timeless

Great job guys - this track is fab!

Sounds like a long lost Rush gem.

Every performance is top notch, as are the lyrics.

Nice production job Snowy.

I-podded!

It was a privilege Mike, and it's turned out pretty damn fab has it not?  Thanks for letting me in on it. Impressive performances all round and it was great working with such talented people.  here's to the next one.

Spot on guys, so this is where the real music is made then :).

The bass part sounds very much like like Geddy Lee -  great stuff Gary. As Gary knows I am a fan of Rush, but apparently not a real one, as I only have 25 of their albums.  ;D

Steve, that's a great job as usual, your voice enhances the Rush-like sound, with the style you are adopting, even if you guys weren't aiming at that.  Until just now I hadnt realised how differently I listen to songs since I started singing seriously, more like, how would I have sung it?. .. I'll have to work at that :(

Mike's guitars are of course awesome.

The only non-rush player you drafted in was apparently Vinny Appice on drums, or was it Ian, I can't tell the difference. I only have 11 of Vinny's albums, and one of Ian's.

George can often be found playing stringy things, and singing...

Geddy Lee eh?!  My god I am honoured! Cheers George.  If you can make it down to London at the o2 arena for the clockwork Angels 2013 tour, there'll be a drink waiting for you.  Even though you only have 25 Rush albums  ;D ;D

I gotta tell ya Mike/Steve... when I originally created those words for a greeting card I made, I never could have imagined that those words would morph into such an awesome song!!!  8) 8)
But we didn't even need words... I could easily just sit and listen to Steve sing his "Yeah... yeah - ooh, ooh, ooh, oooooooooh..." :)
You know that when Mike and Ian get together, we're in for a musical treat - but add Gary and Steve into that mix, and this song is a great example of their potential as a FEARSOME FOURSOME. ^-^ >:D
Damn it Jim! I'm a WRITER - not a Doctor!!

Awsome!
This is international standard playing and production!!!
That makes me - again - very proud of our little family MCS.

I recently sneaked into some Kompoz, Indaba and IMW songs - random mode.
Believe me: Nothing really drew attention but of course there are exceptions (listen to Eric Block!).
