This turned out pretty rocking cool, thanks to everyone involved.
John came up with the "nod to Mephisto" lyric, George worked out a strong melody line and an excellent vocal, then Henry took over with super guitar sonics (my fav parts are the rhythm gtr in the 2nd and 4th verses and the solo), and he also assumed the producer's mantle and delivered a great mix!!
Thanks again guys, Henry, a special thanks, without you this version would have not happened!!

Mr. Wallabee (John Scunziano/Andy Gupta/George Williams/Henry Mittnacht) (C) 2013
It's a clever endeavor to never need
A favour from dear Mr. Wallabee
It's a clever endeavor to never say
That I'm gonna need a favour today
When you have a problem, he's always there
He's got money and time and he's willing to share
But then, when the favor must be returned
The lesson you learn, is sometimes you get burned
because...
You don't want to owe Mr. Wallabee
Whatever he gives, he demands back in three's
He will gladly give you money, or tools, or time
With a devils grin, he says your soul is now mine
Yeah, you don't want to owe Mr. Wallabee
He's got his eyes on your soul and your every need
Now its time to go, 'cos he wants your soul, and its all that you own
If you are clever, never will go outside
If you see, Wallabee, you must run and hide
He will tempt you, to learn what you desire
Your soul's on the line and there's only one buyer
But you still can trick Mr. Wallabee
By proving he don't have a thing that you need
If greed isn't part of your daily goal
You know that he never can trade for your soul
Because...
You don't want to owe Mr. Wallabee
Whatever he gives, he demands back in three's
He will gladly give you money, or tools, or time
With a devils grin, he says your soul is now mine
You can ask any neighbour, including me
Our souls sleep at Mr. Wallabee's
Now its time to go, 'cos he wants your soul, and its all that you own
Each night he counts every soul mounted on his wall
They say his blood runs cold - but he's got none at all
He looks into your soul, with his icy glare
You search for life in his eyes, but there's nothing there
You don't want to owe Mr. Wallabee
Whatever he gives, he demands back in three's
He will gladly give you money, or tools, or time
With a devils grin, he says your soul is now mine
Yeah, you don't want to owe Mr. Wallabee
He's got his eyes on your soul and your every need
Now its time to go, 'cos he wants your soul, and its all that you own
You don't want to owe Mr. Wallabee,
Run and hide,
You don't want to owe Mr. Wallabee,
Yeah!
